Contribute to Mile High Early Learning
We invite individuals, foundations, corporations, and other entities to partner with us in our work to deliver high quality early care and education programs and to advance practices that will help transform the early childhood field.
Donations and grants support the general operations of Mile High Early Learning – including three areas of focus that are critical to our mission:
Providing high quality culturally responsive early care and education at early learning centers located in Denver’s under-resourced neighborhoods. We blend and braid funding streams from a number of sources to ensure access for families without the means to cover the cost of enrolling at one of our centers. We provide necessary health and social services to complement our high quality early education program to ensure that our children and families have the resources they need to thrive.
Engaging parents and Family, Friend and Neighbor caregivers in Babies Ready for College – providing them with information about how children’s brains grow and ways to facilitate that growth so that their children are ready for school. External evaluations confirm that the program is creating deep, life-changing impact among caregivers and parents, and demonstrate a strong return on investment. Parenting Stress Index data continue to show a significant decrease in caregivers’ stress from pre- to post-program, and data suggest improved caregiver and child well-being.
Training early childhood educators through our Professional Learning Center – ensuring that teachers have the knowledge and skills to be effective in the classroom. In addition to professional development and hands-on practical experiences for Mile High Early Learning staff, the Professional Learning Center includes continuing education programs for both our educators and those working at other early childhood programs.
Contributions to Mile High Early Learning qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit – a 50% credit of your contribution on your Colorado State Income Tax (read more below).
