Quality Ratings

In Colorado, all early childhood education programs are accessed using a Quality Rating & Improvement System (QRIS) known as Colorado Shines. All Mile High Early Learning centers have received a rating of Level 4 (on a 1-5 scale).

Colorado Shines evaluates early childhood programs on five key quality components:
  • Workforce Qualifications and Professional Development
  • Family Partnerships
  • Leadership, Management and Administration
  • Learning Environment
  • Child Health Promotion
