“The impact of the work I do is to plant seeds in children’s lives. To guide and help parents to recognize how important education is to them and their children.”
Early Learning Center Program Director

Head Start / Early Head Start/Child Care Partnerships

Mile High Early Learning provides high quality comprehensive child development services to eligible children and their families. MHEL’s Head Start and Early Head Start programming helps prepare children intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically for school and life.

MHEL is a delegate of Denver Great Kids Head Start and a grantee for Early Head Start/Child Care Partners. In addition to a quality early care and education program, health, nutrition, mental health and intervention services are provided for children ages birth to 5 years that include complete physical examination and follow-up, complete dental examination and necessary treatment, hearing and vision screening, developmental skills screening and an individualized educational program and daily nutritious meals. Our staff partner closely with families to set goals and identify available community resources.
